About Dara
Originally from Ireland, Dara trained in Make Up Artistry in Vancouver. Wellington has been her home for the past four years. In this time she has become known as an artist who stands out for her creativity, talent and personality.
Due to her passion for make up artistry in all its forms, Dara is skilled, and in demand for a variety of projects including Feature Films, Advertising, Fashion and Special FX.
A skilled body painter, she has won several awards from both NZ Body Art and Body FX; a first place in Wellington resulted in a job with the Weta Workshop team.
A keen sense of style and ability to truly transform people means that Dara’s skills are in constant demand for beauty makeup and hair styling. Her time as TVNZ’s Good Morning Show beauty expert has created a following for Makeovers, Lessons and her very special Bridal Service.
