Vegas Vibes

Feeling this Vegas vibe or is it more of a Flat Top Mullet??

I unpinned the curls after cooling, then sprayed generously with Redken Triple Take 32 High Hold spray. Keeping the curls in place/ or on base as the pro’s say I used my Cloud Nine wand to heat and lightly pancake the curls into place.
I rubbed a little Redken Outshine 01 anti frizz polishing milk through my hands and lightly pulled through curls at the back. For a sleek smooth contrasting finish.

Soft waves are always a popular look for Summer…..

…..With slightly less chance of wind and rain ruining your efforts, investing your time (or a stylists like MOI!) is definitely worthwhile.
I created these waves using the Cloud Nine wand and pinning each section as it cooled. After lightly brushing through each section I randomly back brushed the top layer to add volume, air and a light Candy Floss (another Summer classic!) texture. Spritzing through the mid lengths and with Redken wind blown 05 for hold and separation.

Just like my makeup kit only the very best equipment and products earn a spot in my bag. I use the entire Cloud Nine range of hot tools as they are undoubtedly the best, gentle on hair and provide looks that last.
Redken, Kevin Murphy, and L’oreal are always on hand to style and finish.

Based in Central Scotland I travel throughout the region offering my on location boutique beauty service. I also take bookings at my home studio.

This was my last wedding in New Zealand and boy was it a fun one to go out on!

Working with my beautiful bride Katriana for her Waiheke Island wedding. This was my last wedding in New Zealand and boy was it a fun one to go out on, especially with miss Kaz Elizabeth Make-up Artist as my wing lady❤️ To compliment Katrinas beautiful blush coloured gown I used Viseart’s Theory palette in nuance on her eyes and that’s the amazing Kevin Aucoin Bronzing Veil-Tropical Days in my hand whipping up a healthy illuminated glow.

Like an old world Hollywood starlet

Having gone for a classic and simple gown Hayley opted for keeping all the drama focused on her hair. She wore an incredible handmade hair piece and bird cage veil. They both came from a lady in Taranaki I believe… I’ll post a link to her site when I find it. Hayley’s hair was just past shoulder length at the time, but we decided a faux bob would be really flattering to her heart shape face and work well with her accessories too. Working with pincurls, I strategically placed them to accentuate Hayley’s cheekbones and fame her eyes. A generous helping of individual lashes concentrated at the outer corners of her eyes finished off her glowing makeup look.
